Back to School at Jackson Elementary and Dr. Suess Event

Thank you so much to Andrew Jackson Elementary for allowing E & C Literacy to have a table at their Back To School event! Our nonprofit was able to reach more than 100 families and provide literacy resources such as printable’s and books. Many students from Jackson Elementary were able to participate in our literacy activities, such as letter recognition and letter sounds. Parents were also given the opportunity to download our 50 free literacy printable’s, gain ideas of at-home alphabet activities, and receive a book.

The E & C Team also has a blast at The Pharr Memorial Library Dr, Suess Event. We can’t thank The Pharr Memorial Library enough for allowing us to be a community partner at their Dr. Seuss Event. E & C Literacy was able to provide information about there organization to over 100 families, regarding there trainings, website, and Youtube channel. We look forward to participating in future events in The RGV community, in hopes of closing the gap in early literacy.
